Rising High
Client – Construction Company
Requirements – Signage require for major new residential development in Surrey. The 20-storey building needed informational and directional signage throughout, including the entrance, outside the lifts, door number signs and floor signs. Sizes ranged from 300mm2 up to 1250 x 500mm.
Our Solutions – We worked with the construction company and finalise their artwork to create a design. We used a reverse printing process on green and clear acrylics which we then laser cut to size. The acrylics were supplied with stand-offs – fixings that hold the acrylic panel off the wall to create a shadow line.
Project Turnaround – Once the artwork was signed off we only had 3 days to get the finished printed acrylics to the client. All done and delivered on time.
Did You Know… – We also created a 60m long hoarding banner for the construction site to shield the building works from public view as well as height warning signs for vehicles.
To the moon and back
Client – Education Provider / Charity
Requirements – A nationwide primary school science experiment involved creating and launching foam rockets. We were asked to print onto 1000 tubular pieces of insulation foam which were used as the main body of the rocket.
Our Solutions – Due to the high volume and urgent nature of the job we needed to print onto multiple pieces of foam at time. The large format printer was the best way of achieving this.
Project Turnaround – 1 Week.
Did You Know… – Tim Peake, our very own British (and local Chichester) rocket man, was championing the project and had a go with our foam rockets alongside the kids.
Teacher’s Pet
Client – Waterlooville Primary School
Requirements – The school wanted a fun and effective way of displaying the children’s merits in the classrooms.
Our Solutions – We designed and created a dry-wipe board design with a printed grid that could be filled in and updated by the teachers and children. We printed onto Diboard (aluminium composite material) and applied a dry-wipe laminate over the top. Then we finished off the boards to give a safe, smooth finish. 12 were produced.
